How does the luggage transfer work?

Book online with your airport, accommodation address, and preferred pickup/delivery times. Our team collects your bags at the airport (or your residence) and delivers them to your destination. You'll get a QR code and verification code to confirm handover with our driver.

How much does it cost?

Pricing is per bag: small R399, medium R480, large R599, extra large R750, and specialty items (such as a guitar or pet in a carrier) R800. Your total is calculated as you select bags during booking.

Where do you operate?

ROUVE operates across major South African airports and the surrounding cities, offering transfers between the airport and your residence or hotel, plus on-site bag storage.

How do I track my booking?

Open 'My Bookings' to see a live status tracker (pending → confirmed → in transit → delivered). Each booking includes a QR code and verification code that our driver or staff scan to update the status.

Can I amend my booking?

Yes — you can amend an active booking from 'My Bookings' up until it reaches a delivered or picked-up status. Once the service is complete, the booking can no longer be changed.

What is the layover bag storage service?

If you have a long layover, drop your bags with us at the airport for secure storage and pick them up before your next flight. Pricing is per bag plus any specialty items.

Is my luggage insured?

Yes. Every bag is tracked and insured while in our care, giving you peace of mind throughout the transfer or storage period.

What if my flight is delayed?

Share your updated flight details with us as soon as possible. We adjust pickup and delivery times around your revised schedule to keep your bags ready when you are.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead, but we'll always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests subject to availability.
